Ok so the rumor was that the recently announced Gashapon EX set was going to be a limited run. Now gashapon sets in general are more limited than DX keys are, so when they call a gashapon set limited, it means it really is limited. So I've been searching around for information on this topic, and I finally have an answer.
So according to Japanese stores that have put the set up for presale, as well as Yahoo Japan Auctions, bandai sites, etc. this set is going to be in a limited run. So grab them while you can, cause this is gonna be a rare one.
And if you are considering skipping this set, just remember that some of the gashapon made keys arent being made into the DX version, so if you want 1 of every ranger its kinda necessary to get at least the keys that arent being made into DX. And by the looks of it the keys from this set that arent gonna make it to DX are Denzi Red, Red Flash, Turbo Red, and Red Hawk. However that could all change with the announcements of other DX sets, but remember Five Red, Mask Red, and Goggle Red were in gashapon set 1, but have not yet been announced in any DX set, while all the others in gashapon set 1 have already had their DX counterparts announced.
So bottom line, these might become very very hard to find. And it may get expensive. So if you want 1 key of each ranger just grab the ones you need to fill in the empty DX spots, or if you want every key ever made(like me) grab this set up quick before its gone

ReplyDeleteNot exactly. I have sources that say its slated in a DX set. And Megaranger was pretty popular, so Im assuming they are correct. But as of the comfirmed news, yes it is exclusive to the EX set
